Three turtles decided to have a couple of coffee.  Just as they got into the cafe, it started to rain. The biggest turtle said to the smallest one:" Go home and get the umbrella. "The little turtle replied," I will if you don't drink my coffee." we won't." The other too promised .Two years later, the big turtle said to the middle turtle," well, I guess he isn't coming back, so we might as well drink his coffee." Just then a voice called from outside the door, "If you do, I won't go."

Mary: You look upset (心烦意乱的,焦躁不安的) these days. What's bothering you (你遇到什么烦人的事了)?

Lisa: Well...er.... I can't seem to get on with (... 和睦相处) Joe. My marriage with him seems to be a mistake and being in the same house with him turns my stomach. (使某人反胃)

Mary: How come? You two used to get on with each other like a house on fire. (来往得火热)  And you told me what you were head over heels in love with (深深爱上...) him.

Lisa: It's a different story now. He turned out to be a (结果却是个...) liar.

Mary: Have you found out anything?

Lisa: Yes. When he popped the question to (....求婚) me, he swore that I was the only one he would ever love. But...

Mary You mean he has been unfaithful?:

Lisa: I found out that he has had affairs with (....有不正当关系)  several girls.

Mary: Did you have it out with (....说个明白)  him?

Lisa: Yes, I did. But he went off his rocker (大发雷霆) and insisted that he had the freedom to do what he liked.

Mary: Have you tried handling him with kid gloves (处理某事时谨慎小心) ?

Lisa: Yes. I wouldn't like to stick my neck out (招麻烦,惹祸殃,气得没办法) , of course, but I really couldn't stand (不能容忍) it any longer.

Mary: Then you will probably split up. (指夫妻分道扬镳)

Lisa: I wish I could live alone.

Mary: But what about the kids? How can you feed them?

Lisa: God knows. But I think I'll be able to work things out. (会有解决问题的办法的)
